2002

The First Oven Lights Up

Anthony Vitolo opens the very first Anthony's coal fired pizza location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Armed with a handmade coal-burning oven imported from Italy and recipes passed down through his family, the first pie rolls out to an immediate line around the block.

2006

Expansion Across South Florida

Responding to overwhelming demand, Anthony's opens three new locations throughout South Florida. The anthonys pizza concept proves its scalability without sacrificing an ounce of quality — every new oven is coal-fired, every dough hand-stretched.

2010

Award-Winning Recognition

Anthony's coal fired pizza earns its first major culinary award — "Best Pizza in Florida" by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association. National food critics take notice, and publications from Miami to New York feature our coal-fired pies as a must-try culinary destination.

2015

Palm Beach Gardens Home Opens

The Palm Beach Gardens flagship location opens at 2680 PGA Blvd — a spacious, modern dining room with an open kitchen so guests can watch their pizza enter and exit the coal oven. This becomes the model for anthony's coal fired at its finest.

2019

Catering & Delivery Launch

Anthony pizza goes wherever you are. We launch our full-service catering program and online ordering platform, bringing the coal-fired experience to weddings, corporate events, and front doors across Palm Beach County.

2024

A New Chapter Begins
